Cancellation Policy

Fair, transparent terms for changing your plans.

At My Tanzania Safari App Platform, we understand that plans can change. To accommodate our clients while ensuring fairness for all parties involved, we have implemented the following cancellation policy:

1. Cancellation Requests

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to our customer support team at support@mytanzaniasafari.app.
  • Cancellations will only be considered confirmed once you receive an acknowledgment from our team.

2. Cancellation Deadlines

In the event of a cancellation, whether partial or full, the following charges apply:

  • 30+ days before departure: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee.
  • 15–30 days before departure: 50% of the itinerary cost.
  • Less than 15 days before departure: No refund.

3. Exceptions

  • No cancellation fees will apply if cancellations are caused by unforeseen circumstances such as government travel restrictions or extreme weather conditions that make the safari impossible.
  • Clients may opt to reschedule their safari at no extra charge if notified at least 15 days before the safari start date. Rescheduling depends on availability.

4. Refunds

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 working days after your cancellation is confirmed.
  • Refunds will be issued via available payment options except cash.

5. Non-Refundable Items

Certain costs may be non-refundable, including:

  • Park fees
  • Special permits or licenses
  • Third-party services booked on your behalf
  • Bank/Transfer/Transaction fees

6. Changes by My Tanzania Safari App

In rare instances, we may need to cancel or modify bookings due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, clients will receive a full refund or be offered an alternative itinerary. Any difference in costs will be settled between parties.

7. Responsibility

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate travel insurance to cover cancellations, interruptions, and unforeseen events.
